Boy Scout Troop 518
Brunswick Ohio

Welcome To Troop 518, Brunswick's Oldest Continuously Chartered Scouting Unit!

Since 1962 our Troop has been providing fun, adventure and leadership skills to countless youth in the community.

Adventures including: ten days on the Appalachian Trail, many National Boy Scout Jamborees, Summer Camps every summer, ten day treks through the Cimarron Mts., many times snorkling and sailing off the Florida Keys, a bike hike from Brunswick into Canada and back, a week of sailing on Lake George in NY, and week-end camps every month. Plus many other adventures too numerous to mention.

2019 will take us on a week long Backpacking trip in Southern Ohio. Some of us will visit the International Scout Jamboree.

2020, (Next year), will take us to SeaBase© for an extended stay on Munson Island in the Florida Keys. Where we will Canoe about 10 miles to the island with all our provisions, live on the island, fish off the island, snorkle Loo Key, visit Key West, and do some great fishing from a launch, where, in the past, we have caught marlin, blue fish, shark and baracuda!

An active youth is a happy youth. And while there are lots of activities your son can get involved in, there's only one Scouts BSA©. From archeology, mountain biking, rock climbing, to wildernes survival, Scouting provides once-in-a-lifetime experiences that prepare youth for a lifetime of opportunity. And while you might call it life changing, they'll just call it fun.

Come, join the fun, we meet every Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Brunswick, Ohio.
